Women’s Empowerment Luncheon at Mia Francesca

Our most recent women’s empowerment luncheon provided us with an opportunity to honor the contributions of Assyrian women throughout history. We showcased a virtual exhibition titled “Women in Modern History,” hosted by the Syriac Heritage Museum. We got to hear from Dr. Alda Benjamen, a University of Dayton professor specializing in the modern history of Iraq and the Middle East, who advised on this project.
